Moving to another country I haven’t lived in since I was ten feels like stepping into a dream I’ve carried quietly for most of my life. It’s exhilarating, a little overwhelming, and honestly one of the bravest things I’ve ever done. As a kid, I didn’t understand why I was leaving home or what it meant. Now, as an adult, I finally get to choose what feels like home for myself and that choice is Trinidad.

This move isn’t just about relocating. It’s about returning to my roots, reconnecting with my community, and building a life that feels true to the person I’ve grown into. I’m excited to pour my heart into the creative work I love, to collaborate with people who inspire me, and to plant seeds for something bigger than myself. My long-term dream is to open a space that blends culture, creativity, and community, a podcast studio with a small café where storytellers, artists, and everyday people can gather, share, and feel seen.

But transitions like this come with real needs. I’m navigating the cost of moving, finding housing, setting up a new work environment, and creating some stability while I get my footing. So I’m reaching out to my community with humility and hope.
